No, i refuse to be terrorised by Tesla.
Although i am responsible for his delinquency.

However, i observed Tesla behaving very strange the other day.
He was wandering across the floor, then suddenly stopped, staring at the floor.
He sat for a moment, simply staring, then he ran in the opposite direction.
Now he had his back to me and his face went down quickly.
Oh crap, he is going to chew the carpet i thought so i went to pick him up.

As i turned him to face me, i realised he hadnt been chewing the carpet.
He looked very pleased with himself and i realised he had found a small spider. Well, half of one at least.
I offered him a yoghurt drop, which he happily dropped the half spider for.

Weve kept an eye on him and im happy to say he is very healthy.

Im not quite sure if he ate half and didnt like it, or he may have simply bitten the spider and not eaten any.
It was only a small one after all, so the other bit may be in the hoover {Grin}

Tesla is trying the self catering menu {Shocked} , you will need lots of yoghurt drops to bribe him not to put interesting things into his food pouches for later. No need of a vacuum cleaner if the carpet has already been scoured for morsels {Grin}

Ah yes keeping to right diet an age old problem {Grin}

Dieting: a pot-bellied history http://www.guardian.co.uk/lifeandstyle/2012/apr/15/dieting-a-pot-bellied-history

Wonder if Tesla had previously swallowed a fly ?

There Was an Old Lady Who Swallowed a Fly Lyrics

There was an old lady who swallowed a fly.
I don't know why she swallowed the fly,
I guess she'll die.

There was an old lady who swallowed a spider,
that wiggled and wiggled and tickled inside her.
She swallowed the spider to catch the fly.
I don't know why she swallowed the fly.
I guess she'll die.

There was an old lady who swallowed a bird.
How absurd to swallow a bird.
She swallowed the bird to catch the spider,
that wiggled and wiggled and tickled inside her.
She swallowed the spider to catch the fly.
I don't know why she swallowed the fly.
I guess she'll die.

There was an old lady who swallowed a cat.
Imagine that, she swallowed a cat.
She swallowed the cat to catch the bird.
She swallowed the bird to catch the spider,
that wiggled and wiggled and tickled inside her.
She swallowed the spider to catch the fly.
I don't know why she swallowed the fly.
I guess she'll die.

There was an old lady who swallowed a dog.
My what a hog, to swallow a dog.
She swallowed the dog to catch the cat.
She swallowed the cat, to catch the bird,
She swallowed the bird to catch the spider,
that wiggled and wiggled and tickled inside her.
She swallowed the spider to catch the fly.
I don't know why she swallowed the fly.
I guess she'll die.

There was an old lady who swallowed a cow.
I don't know how she swallowed a cow.
She swallowed the cow to catch the dog.
She swallowed the dog, to catch the cat.
She swallowed the cat to catch the bird.
She swallowed the bird to catch the spider,
that wiggled and wiggled and tickled inside her.
She swallowed the spider to catch the fly.
I don't know why she swallowed the fly
I guess she'll die.

I know an old lady who swallowed a horse...

She's dead of course!

Well i know there is no way Tesla could swallow a bird, but cannot be totally confident re fly + spider {Grin}
Big question for me is
Why would a cow want to catch a dog {Confused}

So thats why i dont believe the old woman swallowed the cow.
I reckon its just a rumour about the cow
But i believe the rest of the report {Grin}

School children need compulsory body image lessons, say MPs http://www.bbc.co.uk/news/uk-18260133

All school children should take part in compulsory body image and self-esteem lessons, MPs have recommended.

The All Party Parliamentary group on body image made the case after its study found two out of three people in the UK are not happy with their body.

It also found girls as young as five now worry about how they look, while cosmetic surgery rates have increased by nearly 20% since 2008.

Media images of unrealistic bodies were said to be largely to blame.

The MPs said children were often reflecting their parents' own anxieties, as well as being bombarded by images in the media, advertising and celebrity culture of a stylised ideal that 95% of people would be physically unable to match.

They said body image was the main worry for one in five boys and one in three girls as young as 10 - who said it was the biggest cause of bullying

Vulnerable young

The Reflections on Body Image report, published by MPs and the health charity Central YMCA following a three-month inquiry, found a growing body of evidence that body dissatisfaction in the UK is on the rise.

"Body image dissatisfaction in the UK has reached an all-time high and the pressure to conform to an unattainable body ideal is wreaking havoc on the self-esteem of many peopleā€

Jo Swinson MP All Parliamentary Group chairwoman

It was a key factor in health and relationship problems and low-self esteem. It was also shown to be a major block to progression at school and work.

Body dissatisfaction, the report showed, is a problem affecting all of society, regardless of age, gender, sexuality, ethnicity, disability, body size or shape.

However, young people and children were found to be particularly vulnerable to anxiety over their bodies.

While evidence suggested that concerns were often picked up from parents, the peer group became a stronger influence by secondary school age.

Dieting was used by around half of girls and up to one third of boys to lose weight.

In response to the findings, members of the diet industry admitted people had "unrealistic expectations" about weight loss.
Eating disorders

The inquiry - which heard from academics, charities, the public and other experts - also found that:

Wiping out dieting could stop 70% of eating disorders
Over 95% of people on diets regain the weight they lost
1.6 million people in the UK live with eating disorders
Up to one in five cosmetic surgery patients could suffer from body dysmorphic disorder
One in three men would sacrifice a year of life to achieve their ideal body
One in five people have been victimised because of their weight

Recommendations made by the report aimed to change public perceptions and behaviour, and included:

The need for mandatory body image and self-esteem lessons for children at primary and secondary school
Requiring advertisers to pursue long-term campaigns that reflect consumer desire for "authenticity and diversity"
Using "weight-neutral" language for public health messages
Reviewing broadcast and editorial guidelines on reporting on body-image issues
Reviewing the evidence base that supports dieting
Creating a new set of regulations controlling cosmetic surgery advertising
Introducing screening for potential cosmetic surgery patients
The possible amending of the Equality Act to include appearance-related discrimination

The All Parliamentary Group's chairwoman, Jo Swinson MP, said body image dissatisfaction in the UK had "reached an all-time high."

"The pressure to conform to an unattainable body ideal is wreaking havoc on the self-esteem of many people."

Central YMCA chief executive Rosi Prescott also said there was something "seriously wrong in society when children as young as five are worrying about their appearance, based on the messages they are seeing all around them".

She added there was a collective responsibility change society's attitude toward body image, in order to "prevent damage to future generations"
