Times has a huge piece on it today. Praps sleuth can find it? Spiriva - for breathing difficulties and Symbicort for asthma appeared on the list also lots for blood pressure amongst others. Something to do with patents coming up I think.

That list was dated last November - I have had supplies of both symbicort and respimat since then without a problem.

Audit November updated monthly and long may it continue that you have no problems with essential meds

I had trouble getting Symbicort last year so the asthma nurse upped my prescription so I can get two when I put a repeat in every four weeks. So maybe it's my fault they are running low

For some reason my gp's prescription service keep supplying me with double meds seems to be since I ordered doubles for going on holiday and it has continued. Just means I only order on a two monthly basis. This shortage of necessary meds has been reported on other sites by desperate patients and received countless offers of help from all over the country. It's a good job we can look after each other as it seems "profits" are more important than patients. Grrrrrr

We tried the local boots chemist for repeat prescriptions, but had to cancel it as we were literally stowed under with tablets and inhalers and we had three months supply of the fortisip drink, they were way to quick off the mark We were awaiting an early morning police raid
