Apparently the diet during WW2 was one of the healthiest - not that I was there of course! {Kiss} Think part of the problem today is that younger people with families turn to processed food too readily and do not know how to cook from scratch.

I don't think it was only the diet, kids actually played in the streets, Dad had an allotment or a vegetable patch and Mum's worked hard as well.
